Situated on the beautiful island of Mindoro about 110 kilometers south of Manila, Puerto Galera is far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city crowds, yet within easy traveling distance from Manila International Airport.

  • TOURIST COACH
    The SiKat bus and ferry service (tel +63 2 708 9628) departs the City State Tower Hotel in Ermita at 8.30am. The ticket price includes bus and ferry tickets from Manila to Muelle, Puerto Galera, and a guide is on the bus as far as Batangas Pier. Total cost is about 800 pesos per person one-way.
  • PUBLIC TRANSPORT

    For most visitors staying in Ermita/Malate or Makati the closest bus terminals are the Tritran/Jam Liner or JAC Liner terminals on Taft Ave, corner Buendia (also known as Sen Gil Puyat Ave), Pasay City.

    Make sure the destination sign reads 'Batangas Pier via Star Tollway' or similar for the most direct route. The bus fares are around 180 pesos one way.

    Once at Batangas Pier look for a ferry to Puerto Galera. The first ferry leaves at around 5:00am and the last ferry leaves at around 6:00pm with the fare being about 230 pesos. From Muelle Pier in Puerto Galera you will need to transfer via jeepney or small boat to Action Divers.

    You can hire a small boat for about 400 pesos to take you directly to Action Divers which is located on Small Lalaguna Beach. Or, you can catch a Jeepney (20 pesos) or Tricycle (100 pesos) to take you to Sabang Pier which is just a 7-10 minute walk along the beach to Action Divers. Action Divers is located in the middle of Small Lalaguna Beach.
